You don't go through immigration to enter it, and you can enter it as long as you have a boarding pass from any terminal from that airport that day. If you ever see a US airport with an "International Terminal", don't be fooled. Delta, Frontier, and Southwest use T5, and their flights are domestic. ORD's Terminal 5 is called the "International Terminal", but it hosts plenty of domestic flights too. The next flight from that gate might be going to LHR. A gate at ORD might board a flight to LAX. However, some airlines, including United, American, and some of their alliance partners such as Iberia and Lufthansa, use their regular terminals (1 - 3) for departures, including international departures.ĭepartures though are all together. The lounge was overcrowded and it was difficult to find a seat. ![]() Took around 20mins to clear the securityĪrrived at Centurion lounge but didn’t realize I was 30 mins early, so I was denied entry. 20 mins walk to the D gate security checkpoint. Took the MIA mover from the entrance to get into the airport. I would like to report back on my experience today.
